Locker Indicator Light Question

Apologies if this has been asked before, but Im 14 hours into an 18-hour road trip, and Im a little out of it.

Why do my locker indicators keep coming on, rear flashing, front lit steady? Im not in 4x4, just driving down the interstate. Theyll come on for a while, then turn off.

Your answer I believe is SOMEWHERE in the Power wagon forum... I read about it quite a while ago.
I believe the small wrist-watch battery looking magnets in the differentials get sludge up after time. Change your dif-fluid & brake clean everything before refilling.
I know those magnets really sludge up.

This should get you in the right direction. The magnets do get crudded up and need to be cleaned and maybe adjust the gap.
