No your factory lights are not silver stars. They are made by Sylvania, but that is just the OEM bulbs by choice.

I dont know why... Last night 03ram5.9 didnt know how to remove them either, until I showed him. All you have to do is twist off the grey ring that hold the bulb in the housing. After it is removed just yank the bulb out. The Driver's side bulb can be removed from underneath the truck.

And if its any consolation, the fog light housing is made by Hella!

I have installed the silverstars in both the headlights and foglights . They are whiter than the stock but still not the look i want...

Has anyone else tried another bulb that would be whiter than the silverstars???

I want the HID look....

lol yea big boi show me how to take them out.. i didnt know they just pulled out like that. shit everything at chevy is a twist off type of thing. tonight was the first night driveing with the sliverstars must say i notice a huge difference. i really like them!

ITSAHEMI if you want i can take some pics of the install. it isnt that hard at all. the driver side bulb was a little bit harder but not much the only problem i had was geting my fat ass under the lowered truck lol.

BRIK8 what do you mean the HID look? you mean that blue and purple tint? if so you can buy some of the cheaper bulbs and almost get that same affect. from what i understand sliverstars are the whitest without going to HID.
