hi all, my pcm isn't working I disconnected negative cable saturday after the clicking it started, was able to scan but it didn't send any codes except for a/c which I don't have and o/d which I also don't have. can pcm "relearn" if it is just cranking but won't start?only thing left is camshaft sensor but I am fairly sure is ok. I hate to get a new pcm but if I do it may still be screwed up. computer ground is good. no bad connections crankshaft sensor is new

Well it certainly sounds like the PCM is throwing bogus codes....not a good sign I'm afraid.

Vehicle has to run in order for the PCM to learn.

i have had the same issue and the same troubleshooting codes. Yesterday, my van would just crank and would not start. This guy walked over and said " I don't think your getting any spark". I responded that I have been having problems with the asd relay and pcm and that it was something along those lines. he begins telling me a story about a guy who broke down on the Manhattan Bridge and ..." i got a crescent wrench and tapped on the gas tank right under the fuel pump..." I told him that I just replaced the fuel pump. He gets down on a knee and: "If you have a hammer I'll just give it a few taps." He gave the fuel tank a few whacks and I gave it a try. It started right up. go figure.

What year, model and engine do you have? Were the codes 33 and 37?

Bad electrical connection at the fuel pump or the new pump is shot already. Some of the aftermarket fuel pumps will fail quickly...I had one friend that got 5 pumps from Autozone for a GM Truck. finally got his money back and bought an AC Delco(GM) pump and the truck has been running for 2 years without a burp!
