Okay i know nothing about making a wicked n/a car. Im more of a turbo person & I dont have the time or the effort to make another n/a car turbo. Also knowing my luck, nothing is the same in n/a. So im gonna ask away with my question's.My first purchase is going to be a megasquirt (dont know what version yet)to control everything such as spark, fuel, and timming. I had emanage, on my last car & i didnt like it one bit, Yea it's a piggyback & i would probably be better off having the pcm reprogramed. But i like the idea of being able to switch from "performance" to "stock" with the push of a button.
My questions are as followed: Does anyone make high compression piston's for the '02 sedan? Or maybe aftermarket pistons for another car will work? When replacing oem piston's with high compression piston's do i also have to replace the connecting rod's? I'll have more question's later after these 2 get answered so Im apoligising for my thickness and thanking you in advance. |

i am not sure on the pistons, i would check with eagle, i know they make a ton of forged pistons, as for the rods, i would def think about it, no sense getting some kick ass parts and still leaving some stock ones that could break later. You will also want to consider a stand alone fuel system for better tuning, your stock one just isnt that good.

I don't remember who it was, but somebody on this forum has a stratus r/t with weisco pistons. I'm not sure what compression they were though. Hope this somehow manages to help, lol
