One of the possibilities is that the Intreped will take the Charger name when it gets redone in a couple of years. I can only hope that it will look like that. I will buy one if they do it right and make it affordable. I think they will be putting the Hemi in the redesign of the 300M. The 300M with a Hemi will be a little pricey though. They need to make the Charger around the Mustang GT price range. If they try to sell it for more they will still do fine but miss out on part of the market. One thing to remember is that the Hemi is cheaper to make then the 5.9L that it is replacing so they should be able to make an affordable rear wheel drive muscle car with one it. That is something they haven't had in a long time. My fingers are crossed and my money is being saved in hope that DC will be smart. If not I will either get a project muscle car or build a Cobra kit.

The Charger still looks great, definitely not showing its age yet.

I think they would be foolish not to produce it, looks better than any of the pictures I saw of the Detroit auto show concepts.

Seems like they still don't have a decent front end though. Looks like it was slapped together with a typical Dodge grille flanked by quad headlights.

I agree that the front grill is still lacking a "Chargeresque" look. It needs
some sort of hideaway headlights and it will be perfect.

When..., How much..., What kind of Horsepower..., concept SUCK! All I want to know is when can I go buy one! The Charger concept car has been around for about 3 yrs now and I'm getting sick of listening to the rumor mill about the so-called release date!!!!!!!

If the power to be would be smart..., they would release the greatest sports car on the world again! The Camaro is no longer..., the Mustang is and always be a hunk of junk!!!!!

Here take a look at this....

that car will never see production. from what I have read at http://www.car-truck.com, http://www.scatpack.com/forums. & http://www.dodge-charger.com, that there will be a more retro design. ...something similiar to the Magnum. nonetheless, the car will be RWD, with availiable HEMI engine.

IMHO, they should just bring back the '68 charger. don't bother designing something new. don't update the body lines. I know this will never happen; but I can wish, right! 1968 Charger, period, all engines as optioned in '68 (without resto cost)!
