Chrom lettering

Has anyone had problems with there chrome lettering peeling off to be just plain metal. My 2000 dodge grand caravan sport has the problem that like a sticker comes off the metal and it turns into dark metal Anybody Help

Needs new nameplates, it happens frequently to all the Chryslers with the chrome look badging.
