I acnt remeber exactly, its pretty similar to the 86 dash overall, same panel and such, I think theres about 6-8, I cant remeber for sure.
IF your lucky and dexterous, you can sometimes reach up and feel your way to the bulb sockets, but its a pain to get them back in. The easiset way is to simply pull hte dash cover, and gently wiggle it around the steering column. then you guage cluster is exposed. The speedo cable is a little tricky to get your fingers on, youll have to fel your way, unless youve got a tiny head. There is also a gang plug you will be able to see, once youve got the speedo cable dis-connected and can pull the cluster out a bit. Be very gentle with it, its your dashes central "nervous system". (scratches head) If I remember right, the ammeter/voltmeter has two seperate leads held on by 3/8 or 7/26 nuts. Make sure you get all the screws out, if it doesnt move freely (even minimally) youve missed a screw or a clip. Theyre just little plastic lips that help hold the cluster in place. Ive got it down to where I can yank mine in about ten minutes. The trickiest part is wiggling the dash face out around the steering column, a little patience will get you there without cracking it though.
