I'm changing the pedals in my 72 D100, but I can't get the shaft to slide out. Is there a clip that holds it in, or is it just froze up? I took the 3/8" bolt out of the flange on the right side of the shaft.

It's probably just rusted and sticking. I recently removed the brake pedal in my '73 and had to soak the shaft with rust buster and then work it until it was free.

yeah it's just rusty. I pulled the hyd pedals out of the 88 4x4 parts truck the other day, once i knocked it out of the one side it slid right out. The one in my 72 i think is going to have to be ground off on the end cause i think i mushroomed it with the hammer. I may just cut the whole deal out if it gives me much more trouble.
