anyone ever have a problem with there gas gauge not working right, mine reads empty most the time and every once in a while it will rad 3/4 of a tank.
i have a 1988 dodge power ram 100, 318 fuel injected 4x4. any help on where to start would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance |

Quote:
Ground the sending unit connector leads, at the sending unit, in the vehicle. With ignition in On position, a grounded input will cause the fuel or temperature gauge to read maximum or above. If the above happens then you have a sender unit problem and if that's the case, save your self some time and pulled out hair by having the old sending unit rebuilt by a pro, as the brand new Mopar sending units have been the pits for reliabilty! |
