Explain a club cab vs. quad cab

In 2000 what was the difference between a club cab and quad cab.

There is no difference in 2000. Just different terminology.

just in general terms, the club cab was referred to as a truck with the extended cab and no doors, and the quad cab was the extended cab with the two smaller doors

So the quad cab has the suicide doors and the club cab has the cab extension with no doors, correct? Was a four door (four regular style doors) available in 2000?

I think the first year for the full 4 door newer RAM truck was 2002

ram man is correct. in 2002 dodge offered 4 real doors but only in half ton. the 2500 and 3500 still had the old body style and the suicide rear doors. in 2003 all sizes of rams have the 4 real doors.
