Any how to's or youtube videos to give me some kind of refrence or to let me know what Im up against. I would like to tackle it myself. I have installed flip kits and spindles before but I want to go with the belltech 2/4 spring kit. I just want to get the basics because I dont want to be stuck with a truck on jack stands while Im scratching my head. I already know that removing the rear wheel well liner will help. I just figured within 3 years someone would have posted a how to. Unless someone in DE wants to help me

btw my bed sits half inch higher in the rear than front... if I do a 3/4 does anyone know if I will rub bad with my 305/40 22s ?

its really easy to do specially the back all you gotta do is jack up the rear and put jack stands on it to where the differencial will go back down when you take the jack off and then just pop out the old springs and pop in the new ones......why does the back only sit half an inch higher? if it is stock it should be more then that

I do driveway sealcoating so I always have a tank with tar back there. I might go 3/2 drop honestly


ESP since I don't feel like worrying about my rear end not being aligned

i think you should look into rear air bags if you carry a load all the time and want to lower the rear. did you get your truck from Young's?

No didnt get it from youngs they are overpriced on most of their rams. I got it in Florida. 23k out the door. I'm going to just cut the stock springs for now to get 2 inches all the way around until I decide how low I really want to go. This seems to sit higher than most 2wd I see on here.

you can see that my truck sits almost level and thats a half of tank of tar in the rear lol.... Im going to just have to cut my springs to get 2.5 in the front and 2 in the rear

I ordered the belltech 2 inch front lowering coils for $159 shipped on ebay. Now I need a set of 2 inch lowering coils for the rear. Anyone have a pair they have left over after going lower?

You can cut the stock rear coils for a 2" drop with no ill effects...

I actually have an extra set of rear McG drop coils and end links. NIB. I bought two complete sets so I could get the drop spindles and drop coils up front. Needless to say, I didn't need the extra rear coils or hardware.

Any way to get a 1" lower drop with the 2/4 deluxe kit? I have the spindles and MCG(Facebook site) said they don't sell any smaller spindles for the Rams...

Thanks! Glad they came in quickly. You get all of the tape off? I wanted to make sure it didn't bust open in transit. The same reason I stuck the hardare in a ziplock.


I have a 4/5 with 22s on my truck. I do have 285/45 up front though with 305/45 in the rear. I LOVE the raked look.

Thing is with a tank of driveway sealer in the rear my truck already sits level and its only half full... Ima have to tow with the truck too..
