anybody who has a 2500 or 3500 and installed 4.56 gears questions

I am getting conflicting information does anybody know if on my 09 2500 FRONT 3.73 gear differential will I need to change my carrier to install OEM Chrysler 4.56 gears. Im trying to avoid any roadblocks for my installer thanks in advance.

No issues.... As easy to set up as the rear 10.5 and 11.5. I ride my bearings about .02 tighter than the manual for deflection, but it is all up to your installer. No shims needed on the main carrier bearings as they all hav the adjuster rings. the pinion is a little difficult sometimes.

I wish they made steeper gear though.. I tried like hell to find a set of 4.88's They just dont make them,,,, the demand is not there yet.

Thanks for the info. Im waiting for my wheels to come in so he can do everything in one shot. Doing the 4.56s a set of 17x9 Fuel Boosts and 305/70/17 Nitto Terras truck will be ready to pull.

Thanks but you may be a lil biased lol. I looked for a looooong time at rims before decided on the boosts what a chore to pick rims out then the tire and finally the size.
