2013 ram headlights

will 2013 dodge ram 1500 headlights fight my 2012 dodge ram 1500 express?? dumb question but they kinda look a little different in shape but cant really tell...

They should be the same, I have seen several sources say they are a direct interchange.

I think they are the same shape but the wiring may not be plug and play. You might have to mod it to get them to work.

The mounting looks the same, the plug I think is different though. I'm sure someone will make a connector soon so these plug right in.

I really like the look of these lights, but others have said it right...the plug isn't plug & play. We have two connectors while this only has 1. Would require some form of modding to make right.

i would like to know how these are installed as well.which types do they have same as this year as well as projectors.just chrome?

Ive even read that the "carry over" quad bulb setups are better light spread.

Anyone know about the tail lights? Wouldn't mind adding the tails from a '13 sport to my truck

for anyone interested in converting to the new headlights, i believe we can convert these over for you, and can provide plug and play kits. Can anyone provide me with a picture of the back of the headlights?

Yea It's kinda hard to tell. Looks like 3 across the top in the center, then maybe 1 on the bottom on each side, then 2 on the outter most.

They will work with extra wiring for the bulbs. BUT from my readings you WONT be able to put hids in them, they use a odd bulb and they don't make a hid bulb for them.

There are 6 pins.......3 for the High/low (high, low, ground) and 3 for the LEDs (ground, park, turn).

I'll have a set here Saturday and can get a LOT of pics of them.

As for HIDs, why not? HIR2 bulbs, I have a set coming from Retro-Solutions now too.

So, soon, I'll have pics of their performance in halogen mode, HID mode, and then I'm going to rip out the shitty projector and put a REAL one in.

As for fitting, yes - they will fit. The guy I bought my set from had them in a 09 for a few weeks

I'm very interested to see if anyone can get them to "plug and play." These could be a great option for me as the shipping on a set of retro's would kill me.

Have you seen what these new lights go for?

If you are lucky you can find some being offloaded on eBay, but I don't see that being too often......new from the dealer these are $1200/set.

I can kill that price on a set that would well outperform them, even with shipping to Canada.

Jeremy speaks the truth. I get "cost" on Mopar stuff, and I want to say the cost on these are $250-300 EACH. Thats COST...not markup. I priced the entire '13 setup...headlights and sport LED tailights and the dealer cost was $1200+ for all 4. Shit aint cheap.

its crazy. actual msrp is 579 a pop.....I get a discount with my local dealer, but not down to 300! I wish!
