Lately I've been seeing a few more sports in my area (of course you ALWAYS see them all over the road once you buy that particular vehicle). Im always staring at them, or looking over, to admire their truck, or see whats different on mine to theirs, or I drive by and honk
1 person looked at me like they knew me, and then gave me an angry look when they got near by, and someone in a white sport gave me a head nod, and a black sport, we exchanged thumbs up. Just curious..am I a wierdo? I dont expect every person on the road to notice these things, but when you have a unique truck, it tends to catch your eye. Coming from the minitruck scene, when I saw another lowered/bagged S-10 or blazer , we'd make some gesture that was always returned. |

All the time but Rams are pretty unusual in England so it's a little like a club. To be honest I even get waves from vettes, Silverados, F150's and any other special American vehicle.
We English take our American rides very seriously. ![]() |

I always do. Around here nobody returns the gesture. Back in MT, if you were in a pickup, others would just about hang out the window sayin whats up!

In Montana that's how we roll (at least on dirt roads). If you're on a dirt road you always wave to the vehicle you pass. I'm a fan of the two finger man wave (where you lift your index and middle finger of the hand that is holding the steering wheel).

That's how it was where I grew up. Up here in the big city, no one waves. There's even a 3rd gen Power Wagon that I see on occasion and even he won't wave back at me...

There's alot of dodges around here but I got alot of lifted rams (any year) that would nod or wave when mine was lifted. On a road trip a few months ago, I got alot more nods in the rural areas so I agree with myoung84's statement. Seems like the further you're into the country, the more friendly people tend to be....

Yeah people would probably be like what's he waving at me for. Riding a bike and giving a biker wave is just part of being in the that community driving a truck not so much. I know when visiting my Mom in backwoods Kansas people wave all of the time, it's nice to be in rural areas, but not because I'm driving a truck though.

Never in my truck. We would be waving at every 2nd truck rolling by since most of them are Rams. Do wave when driving the RV though at other RV's.

Ok..let me clarify, maybe not for every single ram passing by. I dont wave at the W/T model rams, but if I see a new sport hemi with some stuff done, I make a friendly gesture, or if I see an R/T in my Sport, but im not looking for those stock big horns with the 65 year old guy driving it lol
