2002 Ram Van, getting to spark plugs, changing air filter

I recently purchased a 2002 Ram Van 1500. The local auto part stores don't have the manuals on them. Thought I would ask here. Is there an easy way to get to the engine? Possibly from the inside of the van? I changed the air filter, and went through the front/hood, and that was a royal PITA. I am looking to change the spark plugs, and want to go about it the easiest way possible. Thanks in advance for any help.

The engine cover is removable. There are 2 snap clips and 4 floor bolts holding it in place. Once those are undone, slide both front seats back for clearance and lift the engine cover (doghouse) out of there.

Thanks for the quick reply. The rubber matting on the floor must be covering the 4 bolts you speak of. Just wanted to be sure before getting into it.

FYI - the previous owner of my van just left out the floor bolts and I've had no problems with the engine cover just being held in place by the two spring clips. Makes future access very quick and easy.

If you have real issues getting to the front 4 spark plugs, life would be very easy removing the front wheels for full access to them. Going through the dog-house is very tight and requires a narrow socket extension and universal. With the wheels off, they are easy to do.
