TOP SPEED!!! What's the highest speed reached in a 5.2 or 5.9 ram?

Okay, I have been wondering.. what is the top speed people have accomplished in their 5.2 or 5.9 rams regardless of mods and what not. So far I have reached around 135mph in my 1998 5.2 single cab ram. It has pacesetter headers, cold air intake, e-fans, underdrive crank pulley, 180* thermostat, modded throttle body, plenum gasket repaired, msd coil, wires, and cap, autolite 3923's, and just ordered an sct tuner from hemifever that should be here soon!

160km/h is my top. i know its got lots left. doesnt take much to get there. not comfortable going any faster in something thats not a sports car lol.

I know in my truck, when I do higher speeds, it actually drives really smooth. It doesn't make me feel uncomfortable one bit doin 130+ mph in my truck! lol

I am afraid of going over 80 in my truck, not because I am scared of going fast but because I am afraid of what might happen to my wallet if I break my truck. Not to mention something might just fall off the "Old Beast."

in my truck it tops out about 95 mph. I am running too big tires for my gear ratio. But in a F150 at work that thing flies. I had that up to about 110 easily and didn't even know it. But personally would rather keep my truck anyways. Ford might have gas and mileage compared to my dodge but I love my dodge much better.

Going home after a weekend at sand mountain had it up to 95mph. It was all good until the NHP coming at me thought different

I know you are talking about v8s' and my truck is a v10, but my son admitted to me (many years after he did it) he confirmed that my truck has a 117 mph speed limiter!

I've only pushed the truck two time all the way to the speed limiter. It's not because of the speed but the BFG KO tires. An A/T tire is not know for being a high speed tire.

Seems like the speed limiter on my 96
comes in at 114 MPH. Tires are speed rated S.

Climbed to 160km/h on the highway, never wanted to go further. The hemi durango on the other hand, sure hit a quick 170 without trying. Pretty surprising
