Cut up the K&N CAI to use only the tube with the factory airbox. I didnt like all the noise it made on the 2008 4.7L. It was almost silent on the 2004 4.7L . I did get a K&N Drop in filter and its about 50% as loud as the complete CAI kit.
I even tried the cone filter on the factory intake tube and it howled like a 70's 4bl with no air cleaner.

Got about 6" of snow last Saturday and took the D for some donuts in an empty parking lot.

Was in the 70's last week and today. Just had a weird storm come through, but that's what happens when you are at 8,500' in elevation
 My balls get sweaty when it's 75F, hate it. I love me no humidity and 40-50F.

Just a dustin'
 Not a trace by Tuesday. My new car (2011 Optima EX), could barley get up my driveway. Gonna have to invest in some snow tires, the stock tires suck!
