I just bought a 2006 ram hemi not to long ago.I've been adding this and that to the truck to make it look pretty.I've been talking to some friends about making a custom air intake system like K&N. I didn't want to pay the price for a kit,so I designed one myself. Some 3" PVC pipe a filter from Canadian tire some clamps and a little know how and it was complete.Now for the test.
Well as to my surprise, when I stepped on it, the throttle response was very impresive,not to mention the sound under the hood.I don't know how much horse power was increased,but I'm sure she was a few pony's. So after a little paint and decals,this air intake system looks better than the real thing.The price was right to.I'll add pics later Last edited by Goosenuts : 09-10-2011 at 11:58 PM. |

Sounds good, make sure you get some pictures up. Weedahoe makes some of the nicest PVC intakes I've seen, the plastic welding makes a big difference.
