If you have rolling code on your garage door opener you probably have to enable your garage door opener unit during the syncing?

Man I had that same issue.....you have to do the learning thing with the remote close to the truck and then also do the rolling code thing.

You have to do both....and do not clear it out in between....that is the trouble I had, but got it to work eventually.

And, if you have multiple types, you have to do the rolling code ones first.

I had trouble too. If I am not mistaken there is a phone number in the owners manual. I had to call that number and was talked through it. Turned out I was pressing the wrong button on the remote control... the instructions didn't say WHICH button to press...anyway, they talked me through it and it worked great.

I had a heck of a time setting mine. I had to program the truck with my garage door opener held close to it. Then I had to press a button on the garage door opener to allow it to learn new remotes. I had to do it while the truck was outside and only had about 10-15 seconds to press the button in the truck. I must have ran back and forth a dozen times before I finally got it.

I tried the learn button on the garage door opener several times. I cleared the codes in the truck, took the actual garage door remote and held it close to the buttons in the truck and pressed the open button and the first button in my truck until it said transmitting in the EVIC and then stopped. I realized you have to actually press and hold the button in the truck for a second before the garage door goes either way, instead of just a quick press.
