Common problem and here is the fix: Remove the driver's side switch module and open it up (takes a bit of wrestling). Touch up the window lock-out switch solder connections with a soldering iron. Fixed mine right up!

Whoops, no window lock-out? How is that? Anyway, try the repair. I bet those connections are there anyway. Left front of the module.

It's a bear to take apart. The housing is like an upside-down box, held together by tiny snap-clips. Work a small screwdriver in to get the clips around the rim to release. You'll have to get the buttons off, too. They're rather stubborn, but they'll release. The circuit board is held to the inverted box by four screws (IIRC). Take those out to get to the solder connections. At the front left of the circuit board should be two stout solder connections. If you look closely, you'll see tiny (TINY!) cracks running around the solder connection. Touch those up with a soldering iron and a bit more solder. If you're not familiar with soldering, a little goes a long way and heat the connection, NOT the solder.

While you're in there, you'll probably notice some carbon deposits on the switch contacts. You might as well clean those while it's apart. Use an emery board or fine sand paper and some spray electrical contact cleaner. The contacts in mine were pretty black from all the arcing over time.

Put the board back in, reattach the buttons and pop the box back together. Before you reconnect the wiring harness, a bit of dielectric grease on the pins should make it last longer. Make sure the harness connectors click in firmly.
