I live in Iowa, and in the AM, we have a TON of dew in the air, so much that the car is totally wet. The other day, I get in to start it, it caught for a split second, then died, then I cranked & cranked it, pausing between, I tried again,(3rd time) cranked for 15-20 sec to no avail & thought whiz on it, sat there for a bit, & thought I'd give it 1 more try, it fired right up. The exact same deal the next day, but no dice the 2nd day(Good thing I have my Toyota 4X4).
The next day, I give it 1 pump of gas & it fires right up. I have been doing the 1 pump thing since. You shouldn't have to pump a injected car!!!!! I forgot to mention that it always starts at noon, when the moisture is gone!
I'm thinking plug wires/fuel filter(By the way, WHERE IS IT?)/or a small crack in the coilpack, since these cars have no dist. cap. A Coil is $88.00, so I'm gonna start with the wires first. Can anyone point me to the fuel filter?
Thanks-'bird

RK Thanks. It was the Coil-pack, # 3 was firing blanks! I had a 3 cyl Cirrus, Not very impressive, performance-wise! 'bird
