Anyone have a tuner for their 2011 Ram HEMI yet? I've called Bully Dog, Superchips and Diablosport and no one has any support for the 11's yet, nor can they give me an expected release date.

Anyone have any input/info on this??

(FYI: all 3 dealers said that even though they all support 10's, their programmers will not work on my '11..?)

I got my truck in April '10........and I think I had tuning by June?

im not positive, but it should work fine once they release the 11 files...? All you should halfta do is update it I think...

DS has it in the works, they strive to be first to market all the time so i assume they will be the first avaible for the 11's.

Not sure on how superchips is doing on the trans issue for the 4G rams so i can't seem them supporting 11's for awhile.

Not sure how long BullyDog takes for supporting but sure they will be in the same boat as DS in getting them done in a timely matter to get customers first.

Hypertec was the last to market for the 2010 but they seem to offer problem free tuners which others don't when first released.

Yep. It appears this issue is not localized to one tuning company.

If this is Superchips only real issue in 2009+, it's certainly better than this (11 pages): 2010 Ram Hemi Tranny Jumping And Rough

As soon as we get some dry roads free of snow I will do some WOT shift vids so there is actual proof of how a diablo program shifts, since there is proof how how terrible superchips programming is, btw superchips has the same shifts as the link Sil posted on the rough shifts oh wait it does that factory lol Maybe take the time reading the entire thread you guys post links to, I could post tons of links to the superchips forum of major problems that superchips ignores but the thread starter was asking about tuner availablity not an attack on tuner manufacturers, I originally posted info for my thought of what tuners would be available first not to start a BS tuner debate against superchip employees aka Sil

Man, tuners are always the most controversial things...I will never understand it.

Anyway, firemn, Diablo and Superchips both supposedly have trucks in the shop that they are working on. Dodge changed the PCM formats for the 2011s so all of the R&D that went into cracking the code on the 09's and 10's will have to be done on the 11's. Dodge did the same thing in 2002 & 03, and again in 2004. Between 2002 and 2005 there were 3 different PCM formats. Not sure what Chysler's beef is with the aftermarket, but they sure don't like sharing.

Well, it seems alot of gen 3 owners like to come over and share there first hand experience on gen 4 trucks on a gen 4 performance thread I can't blame em though it's hard to keep up with them fast gen 3 boys.
One can always go to lxforums where there's a minimum of 500 members currently active at any time and see what tune they rely on on their 10 to 20 thousand dollar builds, is that fair? Nothing biased about that

No, I just think it's dumb to bash one because of this or another because of that. None of them are perfect, and none of the trucks are built perfect...therefore, not every truck is going to take to each tuner the same way. Not to mention all reviews are relative to what the driver feels...too many variable factors with a tuner to say one is truly superior. The only thing that would make any tuner superior to another would be if something such as, or similar to, HPtuners or EFIlive came out for our trucks.

Plus, when these things go to personal attacks, that's when it gets out of hand/stupid/ridiculous. All of these people and companies are out to help us (the consumers) by giving service and providing the best product they can. I serioulsy doubt anyone is out to get your money and screw you over...that'd be a terrible business model. I've never owned a superchips product, but I know Sil has done A TON to help push the 3rd and 4th gen Dodge truck agendas within the Superchips corporation. And he is also there to answer all of our questions. Diablo has done the same thing, as well as Sean with SCT.

Just too much opinion involved in these things, it gets old. And 9 times out of 10, it's an opinion on the representative or perceived business model of the company...not the actual product. In other words, a useless opinion/review.

ETA: Those "slow" 3rd gens are beating your 4th gen times by over 2 seconds, just food for thought. And another note, the LX platforms use completely different PCMs and PCM coding compared to the trucks. So what works for them, won't necessarily work as well for the trucks.

I know that! I never claimed one is perfect! This aint my first rodeo man. Im in other forums, like in the M forums for instance where its a whole lot more sophisticated when it comes to shift schedules baweahahaha. Look at this thread alone. The OP simply asked whats up for 2011?? ARE you blind to that???Well guess what I think I got a right to say or post something about a gen 4 product whether its its SC or Diablo as long its positive Now you see where Im coming from? Ive got a gen 4 truck, Ive got a gen 4 performance product, other words Ive got a friggin opininon. Have you ever seen me post negative remarks about a product? but do I have a right to in this section? Im on the ************ 1/4 mile list where there are predominantly some fast gen 3 boys are and highly educated on modding the motor, what are you talking about?? Lets say this if I seriously think SC can soley put my gen 4 truck in the 12s, it would of been in my truck!! Is that biased?
I dont need to be educated on the lx platforms bro. I pay Josh(highhorseman) hhpracing.com and AJ (hemituner)shophemi.com to do the legwork for me, fair enough? Now if you need to question their credibility on the gen 4 truck tuning, you know where to find them.
Jordan, sorry if Im coming off as attacking you, if any Im wholeheartedly agreeing with everything youre saying. Maybe its cabinfever IDK, its uncharacteristic of me and usually I let the ET slips do the talking followed by me thanking certain people for helping me get faster.
