I just purchased a brand new town and country Lx with the 3.3 engine. I love the smooth drive. Much quieter than the 00 windstar that I had. Is there anything I need to be aware of? Also, mine came with the two seat bench in the second row, where can I get some buckets without going to the dealer?
Thanks.

Congrats and welcome to the site

its a 2002 and not AWD right ?

the only thing I know is: there was a recall for "Campaign - A/C Compressor Durability Enhancement."

the TSB (Technical service bulletien) number is 24-002-02

I would think thats been taken care of already, since that was issued way back in Jan ...

might try Ebay for the seats...

My dad's Voyager has the 3.3L, and it has been quite reliable. Mind you, we also purchased the vehicle used, with about 72 000 km.

The only repair so far has been a new water pump.

My mom's got a new Grand Caravan Sport, and it is a great machine. The only problem we've had with it is the Air bag sensors in the front bumper were faulty and replaced, and the first time that we went to remove the rear seats to haul some new furniture, the latch handles would not move. Took it to Dodge the next day and they said that the rivets that hold the aparatus together were not pushed through the whole way, and the handle was hitting the exposed rivets. They had it rebuilt in an hour. Other than that, a great machine. Lots of power, and handles better than my Dakota does.
