Hey guys I got a new alternator because it wouldn't charge the battery. battery was tested a week ago and she is good. alternator is new so that should be good too. here is a pic of how it is connected. something tells me i need another ground wire to that bottom bolt in the pic. BUT this is exactly how my old one was hooked up and I had no issues for the longest time.
Any thoughts please send them to me.
Thanks,
Dan

x2 dodge is the only one that the voltage regulator is in the computer where the GM one wire and the fords are in the alternator and the 2 regulators are prob screwing with eachother and thats why it aint chargeing the battery

It may need another ground wire but my '91 had a small controller on the firewall that told the alternator to charge. In the picture it is the small chrome box with the plug in it just to the upper left of the air cleaner. Its a cheap part to replace. My charge system wasn't charging at the full rate, replaced that, go to go.
