Finally, at 100k, I replaced the distributor and rotor in my 2003 5.9.

If you pull the distributor and all the wires, there is hope. Install and the firing order is simple.

Looking at the block from the front of the truck -

The point at approx 7 o'clock is 1, follow this order clockwise- - -

1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2.

I had to do a detailed search to confirm this. Posted this to help anyone else looking for help.

This is pretty much helpful. Thanks mate, i have been looking for some helpful tip like this. But can you post some picture in here? On how you replaced the distributor? So i can easily identified that one?
