2001 v10 broken rocker arm bolt PLEASE HELP

I recently had my v10 rebuilt, after getting it stuffed back in the engine bay I had my #8 intake rocker arm bolt break 5 different times. This all happened within 3,000 miles. The last attempt was tapping the 5/16 hole to a 3/8". I thought I had it but it snapped with 633 miles on it. The 5/16 bolts lasted about 250-280 miles. I am pulling my hair out on this. Any ideas? Also the heads are rebuilt. My original set had cracks.

Thanks

Wrong valve spring on that valve going to coil bind (or the rebuilder didn't put the right thickness spring shim). Or he put the piston in backwards and it is hitting the valve (If these motors have valve notches, I've never had my heads off).
I'm sure you will get more ideas but those are what come to mind.

I thought of another thing, could the pushrod be too long?

The pushrod is the same as the rest. I am ready to drive it up the mechanics arse! Under warranty, yet I have been the one fixing it. The worse part is that the #8 piston is on the passenger side and I have to take the engine half way apart to get to the problem. That dam elephant head air plenum.

I'm not familiar with diesels but i would imagine the rocker bolts are grade 8's. Are you replacing it with a grade 8? Grade 8 bolts have 6 lines on the head .

The motor is a v10 gas, and yes the replacement has been grade 8 each time.

Although I have never seen it happen on a V10, I have seen the valve guide drop enough to cause the rocker arm bolt break or get pulled out on several different vehicles. Unfortunately the only real way to tell is to pull the head.
If the valve spring is installed correctly it sounds like something is causing the valve to stick or bind up.
