Question Looking for a winch to mount to a car hauler (trailer)...

I'm looking for a winch to mount to the deck of my car hauler. ...to pull up disabled cars. There are many different types out there. I'm not sure exactly what I should look for. ...starting with size? I'm only pulling a car up 30 degree incline over four feet. Then on the flat deck for 18 feet? Any help?

Thanks,

Mark

IMO, I would go with a Warn winch for sure. They make quality stuff. You have lots of choices. Depends how much coin you got/want to spend. I would go NO LOWER rating than this one: http://www.warn.com/atv/winches/XT40.shtml & I would only use it with one of these: http://www.warn.com/atv/accessories/...tchBlock.shtml

Or this one: http://www.warn.com/truck/winches/src/tabor_9k.shtml

Or this one: http://www.warn.com/works/acwinches/3000ACI.shtml if you just want to plug it in to 120v.
