Tranny Question

hey guys,

i am considering buying a 2002 stratus se coupe. i have read through consumer pages and have found several people who have had problems with their transmission fluid leaking. They also report a knocking sound when they brake. Is this a problem that anyone else has had with their cars. I really am interested in buying this car but don't want to buy a lemon. Any input is greatly appreciated in making this decision. thank you so much
