Pleas read the post 'Cloud car on Drugs,' and tell me if you think that the body module, the box right behind the interior fusebox, could be the culprit.
I took the inst. cluster out today, and now know why the Check engine light didn't come on, while all of the others did, the previous owner, or some idiot thought that when it lit up, it meant to remove the bulb! The cluster & all wires look great. All the wiring on the car, that I can see looks good too.
Anyways, if this helps, I put a light back in, did the key boogie, & got 1 ficker-pause 5 flicks-pause-5 flicks. I ran this test twice, same story. Does anyone know what this is telling me?
I'm in the mindset that one of these boxes, or computers is completely whack. Thanks to you if you read this! Ric

So what you are saying is that my car is really screwed up big time? Someone told me it was probably the body module, whatcha guys think? I'm thinking either that, or the power train module. I'm all ears! Thanks-'redbird

Just wanted to tell ya'll that all is well with the Cirrus now. I took the batt for testing, it didn't drop below 11 volts. So I took it home, sanded the terminals & cable ends untill shiney lookin new. Poof, problem solved. That is so wierd that a bad ground (that should have been OK) would cause that kind of mayhem! I'm on Cloud 9 now! 'bird

Yea, disconnecting the negative is the way to reset your computer! Sometimes the simplest things take the longest to troubleshoot! Glad you got it working!
