i have a blue light flashing on the dash... three blinks pause three blinks... when i try to open the truck with either the FOB or the key the alarm sounds and the truck will not start. I tried disconnecting both battries and got the same result. Any ideas would be apreciated....

thanks

Turn your key to on and them twist it to run back and forth 3 times. But not start. Third time to run leave it there and your odometer should show a PO **** code

That means no codes. So I'm at a loss.

thanks for your help.. me too I have also checked the fuses and no luck their either. I am not sure if this is a factory alarm or not, I will check the batteries next to make sure there is not a lack of amps

I am beginning to suspect a non factory alarm installed. The redlight called out in the manual is responding to the FOB, but the blue light is not... i have scoured the engine compartment and under the dash but have not turned up anything obvious

Bump. You might post something over in interior section. Someone might know about alarms there.
