V10 Injector recommendations?

I have had a couple of threads and I think I am having an issue with an injector or two on my V10. There is a miss that can be felt in any gear when lugging the engine at about 1800 rpm. Especially in OD going up hill at that RPM. It can also be felt at idle when looking at the engine and having my hand on it. New Autolite 8.5 MM wires, new Autolite copper core plugs after adding seafoam in the intake while running, new EGR valve, and new 6 pack ignition coil since it appeared that two were not firing but that didn't help. From looking at the usual places (Autozone, NAPA, stealership) all want $400 to $500 a piece for these things. I cannot locate a bad one electrically as they all have resistances of 12.2 ohms +/- .2 ohms. These are paralleled from the PCM and all read 8 ohms +/- .2 ohms from the pins on the connector. Have I missed checking something? What options do I have for correcting an injector issue? Cleaning? I have ran one can of see foam when I only had 1/4 of a tank of gas with no change. Are there other replacement/rebuild options that someone would recommend? I am going to drop the fuel tank and look at the pump and screen since one of the bands holding it rusted through and broke and needs replaced. But I am doubtful I will find anything there.

Forgot to mention that I also replaced both O2 sensors with Bosch sensors and cleaned the upper intake since I had it off to gain the access needed to check the resistance right on the injectors.

I guess I will take the "silence" from the other posters that I am likely headed in the right direction? I have found a couple of places to buy full sets of injectors on-line. Maybe someone would like to comment on their experiences with any of these:

My V10 has been running well all along. My son's '96 V6 had a miss that plugs, wires... didn't fix. We started replacing injectors and it got better, after 3, it was running great.
He purchased rebuilt injectors from Napa.
Do you have a check engine light on?
That will tell you what cylinder is missing.

Good question. I don't have any lights going but I guess it would be prudent to check for codes though.

Codes form doing the key trick came back as 12 and 55. 12 is PCM had been unplugged in the past 50 starts which is true as I had the wiring harness off to take measurements. 55 is end of codes, so no codes that would lend itself to a lean cyclinder. I have sent for the rebuilt set of 10 injectors from Five-o racing given they are sold "as-new" and come with a 3yr unlimited warranty for $459. This includes the $100 deposit that I'll get back if I manage to get the old ones out and the bodies are undamaged. I'll post back once this is done in case it helps someone on down the line.

The results of the dropping the tank. The filler supply pipe was junk so I replaced it with new $100 Taiwan peice from my local bone yard. They had two left thank ##d. The stealership wanted $300 bucks. Had to suck it up and get the straps and the hoses from the the stealership at $32 and $38 for the straps and $12 and $18 for the hoses. The bad filler pipe was probably the issue that has put me where I am at with the injectors. Found a lot of fine dark "dirt" in the pump and the filter/screen on the bottom was in one peice but when I pulled the pump, all the gas stayed in the pump. I had to turn it upside down to drain the gas out. Cleaned this fine "dirt" off the bottom of the tank also. I replaced the fuel pump for $200 at Advanced. The pump had the same numbers as the original. My '95 had a short plug adapter for the wires going to the fuel pump. I didn't need this adapter for the new pump since it had the correct connector. Power is up even more which was also the case with the replacing the plugs, O2 sensors, and wires but that miss is still there. Should get to replacing the injectors in the next week or so.

My miss is all the time. It is at idle warm or cold engine and really shows up when lugging the engine going up hill in OD at less than 2000rpm (45 to 50 mph). At 60 to 70 mph, it just feels like a small vibration like something is out of ballance.

Thanks for the link to the TSB. I hadn't seen that one. I searched for V10 TSBs but couldn't find it. Kept going to the one for V8s. I will check this definitely to be sure it's not happening. I haven't received the injectors from Five-o yet and can send them back if it turns out to be a crossfiring issue. I'll report back on whether I have the plug wires lined up like that or not. I think if I have to go with the injectors that I will stick with Five-o as they have a 3 year unlimited milage warranty and are checked to Bosch specs but someone else might find it useful.

Plug wires 7 and 5 are seperate from each other. I don't have it exactly like the TSB says to run them. Should be ok since the TSB just says not to run 5 and 7 right next to each other.

Took a few hours to get the intake off last night. I had to move the truck so it ran a few minutes before I started the work. Once I got the upper intake plenum off, I could smell gas. I hadn't noticed this before. I went to depressurise the fuel rail by pressing in the thing on the passenger side of the rail where you could put a gauge or something to measure the rails pressure that looks like it uses a valve stem similar to the tires. I pressed it and nothing. I thought maybe I hadn't pressed it in far enough. Made sure I fully pressed it in and still nothing. I am betting that the bad fuel injector is not sealing and allowing the rail to leak off into one of the cylinders. When I changed the oil a month ago or so, there was no smell of gas in the oil so I am hopeful that I have caught this issue in time to prevent any bad damage. Hopefully, I will start to change out the injectors tonight after work.

OK. Here is the finally. Got the injectors in and before I put the upper intake plenum back on I cycled the key to pressurize the fuel rail and check for leaks. It took two cycles before the pump quit trying to top off the pressure. No leaks. Hit the thing that look like a valve stem and some air came out at first then all gas. Cycled the key to top off the pressure again and still no leaks. Put everything back together and test drove it. Perfect . The manual says the injectors should come out with the rail. That didn't happen . Four of them refused and I had to pry them out which resulted in damaging the plastic at the tip and tearing the lower o-rings. Didn't lose anything down the intake though. Looking in the top of each injector. There is a very fine mesh last chance screen in the top of each injector. Found two injectors that were pretty much plugged with stuff. The rest were just discolored. The inside of the rail looked very clean which I expected given the seam foam treatment I did with only 1/4 tank of gas and a whole can of sea foam. Given how crazy expensive these things are, I will look to get the 6 injectors that came out undamaged cleaned and have them for next time.
