A buddy of mine has a 1984 Dodge D 150 Prospector, 2WD, with 318 motor and a holley carb. The carburetor is shot, and he'd like to either rebuild or replace it. Where does he find the numbers that tell which Holley carb he has? When we look online, there are Holley 650's, 670's, etc and we're not sure which ones would fit his truck. Thanks! Bruce in TN

Welcome to DT!

Is the engine stock?

Everyone recommended a 600cfm for my stock 360.

Yes, the motor is a stock 318, automatic transmission.

Look around the base of the carb ... IF I remember correctly, you should find a number like X-XXXXnumber

Example: 1-2345A

bruce welcome to DT. Anyways i bought a carb from summit its there own brand and for the price you can't beat it. I think its 600 CFM and they have a bigger one. I haven't got it on yet but i'm anxious to do so when i get my engine in my truck.
