No TMR delete for my 03?

build date on door is 10/02; and its a 4.7 - felt ambitious today, and went to snoop around and do a TMR delete; and i see my PCM on the firewall has "4 plugs". Isn't this the new style? I also did not see the TCM i've seen on the other trucks and writeups for doing the TMR wire delete.

Any idea what this means for me? Also as a note, I tried to use a superchips a while back, and it would not work correctly - it was unable to read my stock configuration - I went back and forth with superchips tech a few times, and eventually gave up on the idea and just left it alone.

Now I cant figure out whats up with my truck - did it have something changed or updated at some point where the TCM and old 3-plug PCM removed and changed over to a 4-plug? or were some early 2003 trucks produced without separate TCM (and thus unable to do the TMR delete mod).

Any input appreciated..As of now I'm bummed out; no TMR delete and can't run the superchips either.

Regardless of how many connectors, you still have a TCM mounted on the passenger fender with the same wires as every other '03 Ram. Cut the wire there instead as it's more accessible.

Cheap. Fast. Reliable. (Pick 2)
