We have a stratus that was leaking oil.It drove fine never gave us any problems other than the oil leak. Took it to a mechanic that said it was the rear main seal. Said he could fix it for $500 or just keep oil in it. Well we just kept oil in it. About 9 months later decided to get it fixed but by a different mechanic. This mechanic said it was a warped head and I assume he fixed it. Well went to pick it up. We drove it about 1 1/2 miles and it cut off. Would not crank back up. Now the mechanic says it will run with the sensors disconnected but it skips. Im wondering what could be wrong. Hope I haven't picked a lemon for a mechanic. Now we are waiting on an electrical expert to look at it. Any thoughts on this one?
