The code p 2110 keeps on coming up when i do the dodge key dance. Even after multiple pcm resets(fuse pull trick) it keeps on coming back. Truck is surging and stalling. Any clue what it could be?

The 2110 is a TB code. Was it a brand new OEM MOPAR unit you installed?

I could be wrong but i think there is a flash for the computer which involved replacing the throttle body and updating software in the computer. I will try and find some more info

Knock retard limitations by the pcm on a stock tune, it can pull:
15.0 degrees at low RPM's
5.0 degrees at 6000 RPM
9.0 degrees at 4800 RPM's.

P2110-ELECTRONIC THROTTLE CONTROL - FORCED LIMIT RPM

When Monitored: Ignition on and ETC is working.
Set Condition: When the PCM requests to limit engine speed if PWM is too high for 20.5
seconds and before P2118 sets. One trip fault. ETC light is illuminated.

Possible causes:

GOOD TRIP EQUAL TO ZERO
THROTTLE PLATE STUCK
(F888) ETC POSITIVE CIRCUIT OPEN
(F885) ETC NEGATIVE CIRCUIT OPEN
(F888) ETC POSITIVE CIRCUIT SHORTED TO GROUND
(F885) ETC NEGATIVE CIRCUIT SHORTED TO GROUND
ETC MOTOR
PCM


Test 1

Ignition on, engine not running.
With the DRBIIIt read DTCs and record the related Freeze Frame data.
In the Freeze Frame data, look at the temperature at which the fault occurred. If it
occurred in extreme cold temperatures, Icing of the throttle body may have caused
this code to set.
Is the Good Trip Counter displayed and equal to zero?



Yes - Go To 2


No - Refer to the INTERMITTENT CONDITION Symptom (Diagnostic
Procedure).
Perform (NGC) POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST VER - 5.

Test 2


Turn the ignition off.
Remove the Air Cleaner Assembly from the Throttle Body.
Check for any signs of a foreign material (ice or dirt) causing the Throttle to stick.
Manually open and close the throttle plate using your hands.

This bulletin involves replacing the throttle body.

Symptom/Condition:

Customers may experience any of the following Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) system symptoms at start up in extreme cold ambient temperatures (Below 0 F (minus 18C)):

Partial Return From Cold Start Fast Idle
No RPM Increase When Accelerator Pedal Is Moved
Diagnostic Trouble Code 2110 - Throttle Actuator Control System - Forced Limited RPM
Diagnostic Trouble Code 2118 - Throttle Actuator Control Motor - Current Range/Performance

Diagnosis:

If a customer indicates that they have experienced the condition, perform the Repair Procedure.

Parts Required:

1 05161805AA Throttle Body - 2003/2004
1 05174079AA Throttle Body - 2005

Repair Procedure:

1. Using the procedures outlined on TechCONNECT, remove the throttle body and install the appropriate throttle body listed in the Parts Required section.

Not sure if this is the problem, but I would make sure that the part number above is what's listed on your new TB.

Any idea how to fix this yet? Did you take the truck down to have the ETC Relearned? I am getting the same P2110 code with similar symtoms after installing a new ported throttle body. After I removed the ported TB and put the stocker back on cleared the code and everything is perfectly fine.
