Since we continually strive for new product line expansion, and as an alternative to our CCFL angel eye kits, we began looking at alternative angel eye sources.

Working closely with Flashtech, we are looking to expand into the angel eye market, we will soon begin carrying LED Angel Eyes for the Dodge Charger and Challanger, have prototyped the Pontiac G6 angel eyes, and will be looking to prototype the 02-05 Dodge Ram, 06-08 Dodge Ram, and 02-08 Ram Fog Lights. The benefits of LED over CCFL are:

THE MOST ADVANCED HALOS ON THE MARKET! So Advanced they have a patent pending status with the U.S. patent office!

These new LED halos offer a minimum of over 130 specifically designed LED per headlight and thus give a unique effect of having a continuous light up ring.

These LED halos eliminate the following issues associated with CCFL.
1) Power inverter failure - no inverter needed for these kits
2) Glass Rings - possible breakage during install
3) Cold start issues
4) Dimming issues
5) Items being broken during shipping
6) Simple 2 wire hookup to any 12 volt source

These LEDs have been tested with over 300 hours of continuous testing. It also has DOUBLE the number of LED's then any other halo light

Color options

6000k
10000k
Green
Yellow
Red
Blue
and... YES EVEN UV PURPLE! The only UV purple LED halos in existence! UV purple is true blacklight and offers unlimited lighting effect possibilities, thanks to UV activated clear coats, day-glo paints, etc.

What separates our new technology is the fact that not only do our LED HALOS look like a complete ring, rather then dots, they are 4 times brighter then ANYTHING ON THE MARKET.

This product, like many of our other products, will carry a 100% lifetime warranty on these LED halo rings.

In order to take a head on close up picture, we had to use a digital SLR camera because if not it was just a blur. Pictures do not do these justice and when seen in person people were in AWE!

Please let us know if you would be interested in a group buy for the Charger or Challenger, and if there is interest in prototyping the Dodge Rams. We are still tweaking the final design just a tad on the G6 (as seen below), but what you see is basically what you would receive, just some fine tuning on the ring design. Pricing is looking to be lower in price than the current CCFL kits we offer.

Below are pictures of the Charger halos in Red.

These are the deepest true red LED available. Keep in mind with all these pictures, to the human eye, you do not see the individual LEDs. This is achieved through the camera settings.

Retail Pricing Looks like it will shape up to be:

4 ring white Led Halo kit (6 or 10k) - Retail pricing $179 + shipping
4 ring color Led Halo kit - Retail pricing is $199 + shipping
4 ring UV purple Led Halo Kit - Retail Pricing is $229 + shipping - UV Purple is true blacklight, meaning there are numerous options for using UV reactive paint to acheive stunning visual effects.

As for forum pricing, we will be looking in the ballpark of:
4 ring white Led Halo kit (6 or 10k) - Retail pricing $155 + shipping
4 ring color Led Halo kit - Retail pricing is $165 + shipping
4 ring UV purple Led Halo Kit - Retail Pricing is $185 + shipping

We will also be happy to set up group buy pricing, which will also get significant discounts for 10+ pricing.

I voted for 06-08 fogs but after seeing the pics of the charger I'm liking the headlight LEDs, in blue of course.

It would be possible, we would just have to develop them. If you can get me at least 10 people to purchase kits, we can make them!

Chad...

What is the advantage of the leds vs. the ccfls? Are they brighter? Last longer? Draw less power? etc...just trying to weight out the options before I place my order.

CCFL's are not always bright in the cold, it can take a bit to warm up and you dont have an inverter to burn up and stop the rings from working. I have noticed on mine that the rings are not as bright if the vehicle is not running.

Good info, thanks Jay. I guess too that "if" a single led were to burn out, it wouldn't really kill the whole thing either. Hmm....I hate making decisions!

If it were me I would go LED all the way. They are brighter and dont have a chance to burn up your headlight like some of the CCFL's have done on some vehicles. Here is a picture of my fog light wiring.

I voted. Would like the red LED ring around the headlights only. Would you do the install and how much?
