Question Torsion bars of Spacers???

I want to raise the front of my Dodge up to equal the the level. My question is, what does everyone recommend, cranking up the torsion bars or coil spacers, and if I crank the bars will it do damage sooner or later.

I know a lot of people that wanted to get more height out of the 4x4 chevies by cranking up the torsion bars, Im sure it did put extra wear on them, but I do know one thing for sure, it made the truck ride like hell. every bump the front end wanted to come off the ground. IMO go with the coil spacers. but thats just my opinion

If I'm not mistaken, you have a 98. You didn't say if it was a 4x4 or not. However it doesn't have torsion bars in it. If you have a 4x4, you can get a leveling kit from Daystar of Tuff-Country pretty cheep. I haven't heard of a leveling kit for 2 wheel drives, but Fabtech makes excellent 2 wheel drive lift kits.
I personally would get a compleate lift kit. the 3 inch kits are not that much more expensive, and you get new lower control arms to keep the axle centered in the wheelwells. Just my opinon. Go with whatever you feel you can afford, and for which tire size you want to run.

I thought you might have been referring to a 2wd when you asked about torsion bars, until I read your signature again, in which Dave is right. Dodge 4x4's, except the new ones, Dont have torsion bars. If you just want it level, I would go with the Daystar kit, it just bolts onto the top of the coil springs, pretty easy and cheap. This is what I was goin to put on my truck, but decided to wait and go with a big lift.

Well I guess if I would have thought about it I could have answered my own question. I never gave it a thought that solid a axle wouldn't have torsions. What website can I look at for spacers? The cheapest I have found them is $180, is that a good price?
