Kill switch or fuel pump shut-off switch

Seems the guy who lives 2 doors down from me is a car thief. He had stolen a Crown Vic somewhere here in town, and was trying to make it home. He was spotted on the highway, and the high speed chase was on. Anyhow this morning I was sleeping on the couch , heard the sirens and saw the lights, put on my shoes grabbed my coat, and went outside.

I see about 8 cop cars chasing the Crown Vic through my edition. It looked like something out of the Blues Brothers movie. They were driving through the grass, around the buildings. D@mn near hit my truck 3 times, the perp missed hitting once it by 2 feet. At this time I was ready to grab my 870 and deflate the tires on the stolen car on the next pass. Fortunately the chase ended when the perp bailed out and took off on foot. Unfortunately for him one of the units in the chase had a dog. The dog got turned loose, dirtbag got perforated a few times, and then off to jail.

So today I was outside for a smoke, and I wondered what is the best way to immobilize my truck without doing damage to something. In this day and age where we are immune to the wails of a car alarm, and sentry keys that can be bypassed. I need something that will render my truck immobile. What is available, or what can I do to make this happen. Electronics is not one of my strong points, but I am more than capable of following instructions. I like to do all my own work to my truck. If anyone has any ideas please don't hesitate to PM me.

Yes I'm looking to do one or the other.. Just have not decided. I don't want to have to open my hood, or run a ton of wire for a battery cut off. I'm looking more for something that can be done within the ignition system. Something that I can put on a small hidden switch.

No Sentry key.. Those are useless, and easy to bypass.

I thought the sentry key system would disable the computer.

I thought if the truck was somehow started without the Sentry key the truck turns off after 2 minutes. 2007 Ram

this might do what you need. find the wire that runs the fuel pump or starter. go to an electronc supplier " mouser, or digi-key". get 4 roatoray 10 position switchs. wire them in seires. set each to a different number.
no one is going to spend the time to run the switchs through 400 settings. dont make the number your house number, or tag number.

The criminals are a smart bunch. If they used all that brain power for good things it would be a better world. But no, they just steal our trucks.

Don't get a store bought system. a half assed thief knows them all.
Just get a relay and a small switch, pick a system... fuel pump,
injectors, or starter. Splice the relay into it in some obscure
area of the wiring harness, then activate it withe the switch mounted
in some place not worth the thiefs trouble to look for.

I'd show you how mine is set up.... but then I'd have to kill you.

There are homes all over the place for sale...

Ravelco- no switches to burn up, disables multiple circuits, can't get to the wires to bypass it like alarms and home-made devices, very easy and convenient to use.

runs 2 sec. without sentry key,but does not disable pcm. it disables fuel pump relay.
