I just bought a digital camera yesterday and just took some pics of my 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan Sport with some "extra" options. I had this van converted in August 2001 and received it in December 2001 with the IMS conversions completed. I get alot of looks when I driving on the highway......guess they don't see the steering wheel...hehe. Anyways, the pics are in the Gallery section under the Caravan link.....I hope you like it. It's one interesting van and I love it!!

Here's some info about my Grand Caravan.......
As you can see from my pics, there is extensive modifications done to the van....some good and some not so good. I bought the van in September 2000 and my folks used it for a few months so it had about 6000 miles before it underwent the transformation. A conversion company that is near my place took my van and sent it to the IMS factory in Minnesota and it received the "basic" mods which consisted of a 10" drop in the floor from the firewall to the third row of seats, the ramp for the wheelchair that is located on the passenger side sliding door, the kneeling suspension (keeps the ramp level to the ground when getting in and out of the van), and basically all the mechanical and electrical mods to make it all work. The driving equipment (steering, hand controls, and lock-down system) was installed by the conversion company and they added the steering wheel and hand controls. The van is mechanically "stock" except for some things that are relocated (muffler is tilted sideways for clearance) but other than the body kit covering the dropped floor, it's just like any other 96-00 Caravan. I plan to do some mods so I can get some more power out of the engine (all the mods added ALOT of weight) and some cosmetic mods. Hopefully I can find someone to make a custom intake for my car (I don't have the tools) and get a new TB and injectors. Once I figure out if there's enough clearance, I get a new exhaust and muffler system. As for the outside, I found some aftermarket exterior parts for a Euro-spec Voyager that would look great......still gotta check if I can do that to a US-spec Caravan (go to www.startech.de if you're interested to learn more). I also wanna put in an Alpine DVD Nav system and DVD player (for the rear passengers) along with a sub and amp to kinda make my van more special than it already is. --Ratler9782--

angldrkns9 made a custom cold air intake for his Caravan, which is in the gallery. It looks sweet. Hopefully that might give you some ideas.

Great site! www.startech.de How did you come across them? Do you know any other companies that modify the caravan, t&c, or voyager? I love their projector headlights.

I've been searching high and low for ANY companies that modify the chrysler minivans to the extent that Startech does and so far I have only found Startech. Their projector lights are absolutely beautiful.......I agree with you on that one angldrkns9. Their Moonstar wheels are beautiful as well......first time I have seen 19" wheels available for a Caravan. I wanna look into the muffler system and see if that has enough clearance in my application.
Love the intake and other mods you put in you Caravan, angldrkns9. I gotta take a look in my hood to see if I have enough room to fit an intake in my van (there's a few new boxes inside the hood that control some of the driving mods) then I can go about making my own intake. Once I get some $$, I hope my van ends up as nice as yours..... --Ralter9782--
