2004 Grand Caravan engine wont start

My 2004 Caravan was idling rough. Today it stalled and will
not start. The engine turns over fine. No firing though. Is this
a sign of the timing belt braking? Mileage 70,000 +/-. Repair
costs ?

What engine? The 3.3 and 3.8 engines don't have a timing belt.
Is the check engine light on? If so, there will be at least one code stored that will help guide you to the problem. Do the key on-off-on thing 3 times quickly and any codes that are stored will be displayed.
It could be a lot of things. When you first turn the key to the on position but before trying to start the engine, do you hear the fuel pump run for a few seconds and then shut off?
In case it is an anti-theft issue, have you tried different keys?
