help with front brake dust shield?

Hi guys I am at the point where i am ready to replace my hole front end on the truck (78 dodge power wagon ) before i put the new engine back in. I need help finding new brake dust shields for the front end mine are long gone any help would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance rick .

I don't, it's probably a NOS, junkyard or dealership item.

ya cant get em from dealer and j yard scraps anything older than 10 years old up here thanks do speed.

Well, they should be the same or similar up to '93 at least, maybe even the 94-up will work. They are all solid front axles until '03, when the half-tons got IFS.

The last time I researched these they were all their own part numbers for the full time front axle. The later years and axle types changed dust shield part numbers a dozen times.

You won't find these at Dodge, maybe NOS but we need more info.

Is this the original full time D44(3500#) or the optional D60(4500#) axle? Or something else?

Most dust shields are removed by the monster mudder type guys because they dont want mud getting caked between the shield and rotor , so I would recommend posting in the classifieds at many of the dodge forums on the web. ramchargercentral.com is the most active for used parts classifieds but try them all.

W200
D44 rotor would be around 12.82" (1 part number) 3736760
D60 rotor would be around 12.88" (2 part numbers) 3821520(R) & 3821521(L)

RC(AW) & W100
D44 rotor would be around 11.75" (1 part number) 3736760

You might try www.junkyarddog.com and put in a request. Even if you get a cracked one you can have it welded.

thanks chump it is the original full time 44 but i am putting in the conversion kit on it but thanks for the source info.

they changed the shields in the 80's. i thought i could use newer ones on my 77 but they are the wrong bolt pattern
