Well, heres the delio!
I am having my current short block re-machined. New flat top pistons, new rods, new bearings, lightened machined crank (rev, rev!), new rings and the biggie.....................................having the cylinders bored to approx. 2.2 litre capacity (machine shop said just under 2.2 litre).
Now thats gonna up the torque!
Cost is $2200! But I remove the motor and take it to the mechanic and he works it and builds it and gives it back to me as a long block with my race spec head etc installed. I then dump the motor back in. Atleast setting the timing will be dead easy with the motor out! lol
Won't take long at all to remove and re-install the motor surely.
