Now that the cat is out the bag, this one is similar to the one that I saw. The only differences are different wheels, the lockbox on the bed, and two-tone color. We all had mixed emotions when we saw the front end. It never really jumped out at us. I hope that there is still a chance that it changes.

BTW, the trim reminds me of a Ford!

It's hard to believe that the picture was posted on Mopar on purpose. How about all those 2008 models they have to try to sell now. Anybody who is thinking about buying a new Ram will certainly wait for the '09's to come out. Lots a luck to Chrysler getting rid of their 08 inventory.

Like any new design, there will be plenty of people who prefer the old one, especially at first. There will also be some who just don't want a first-year model, regardless of how good it looks. But mostly, the rebates on the '08 models will keep them moving. I wouldn't worry about that at all.

Are you talking about the pic you posted or one you saw...The pic you posted looks like a lower resolution version of the one in the first post

The pictures were going to be out in another 4 weeks anyways. The Ram is being debuted at the Detroit Auto Show in January

and I thought I was a post whore for going into Chauncey............lol.

I just copied the same picture that was just posted in the first thread. This pic is similar to the truck that I saw in person months ago. The one that I saw was all gray. BTW, everyone look out for a full-sized suv with that same front end.

and it was posted in the accessories section for 2008 ram 1500's.

Man I have mixed feelings for this new model I will need to see it in person. Im holding off in buying my CTD MEGACAB to see the 09 but just by looking at this pic I think I will be buying in 08. I hope it grows on me....... I keep looking at that pic and all I see is a furd and yota.

Dubram2004, I'm with you. The Truck looks good, except for the Grille and Headlights. I'll wait to see the interior to make my 08/09 buying decision.

How can you say Ford? I see nothing that resembles a Ford and since everybody says Toyota is a copy of the Ram then the Ram is actually a copy of itself

I'm going to hold off on any decision on the new truck till I get to see it in person or at least in a different color scheme. It's interesting. Like the grille, and the box in the bedside, but not so sure of the headlights.

i think eveybody that is seeing ford is because of the 2 tone paint
