Exclamation Why won't my rear wheels come off?

Trying to do a tire rotation today. I bought the truck at 33k, now has 36k, so this is the first time I've tried taking the wheels off. Fronts came off just fine, but neither of the rears will budge. Do you think they are frozen to the rotors? Any tips to free them up? I tried kicking the tires pretty hard a few times, but it doesn't seem to be helping...

It may sound funny but a big f-ing hammer will do the trick. It has happened to me in the past and I used a sledge hammer to knock them off.

Thanks for the input. Well, they are off. I was originally kicking them around the outside edges, but kicking them from the inside (laying under the truck) did the trick.

I really didn't want to try my BFH, just in case I slipped and hit the wheel.

Paint the hub assembly with some high temp black paint. Will prevent the aluminum from wheel bonding with the hub/rotor assembly.

Good tip, but I went the lazy route, and cleaned them up with some sandpaper and put a thin coat of antisieze on them.
