Correcting Error Code P0137 For 04 Durango

Hello,
My 2004 Dodge Durango 5.7L 4X4 Limited has an error code P0137 (02 Sensor Circuit, Low Voltage Bank 1 Sensor 2). I currently have 35,072 miles on it.

The D is running fine. Gas milage appears to be normal 13.5 - 15 local and 18-19 highway.

I've cleared the error code in the past by disconnecting the neg battery cable and about every 3 - 4 weeks, the error code will return.

My question is do I replace the O2 sensor? If not, what do you recommend?

I prefer doing my own maintenance as much as possible.

Thank you.

I would replace it if not under warranty...

BTW: How did you read your codes? My aftermarket reader (~4 years old) can't, and i can't get the odometer to display it...

Reading The Error Codes

After you have inserted your key into the ignition; turned the key to the acc (without starting the D) then off then on, then off, the stop at on (acc without starting your engine).

You turn your key to on three times (on, off, On off, on) then look at your odometer reading, if your Durango detects an error, the error code will appear.

I just learned that if your Durango doesn't detect the same error after 3 starts, the check engine light will automatically disappear.

This happened to me two times with my P0137 error code. However, my concern is, since the error has appears and disappeared two times, my O2 sensor may be starting to fail.
