Question 97 intrepid in limp mode please help

undefinedundefined ok here is problem one day speedometer, odometer, and engine light came on. Earlier that day i had a new battery installed. Upon looking at previous posts with same problems, i replaced input/output sensors on tranny. (did not work) after installing these sensors do you have to reset system, by diconnecting battery cables? So i brought car to have scanned and temp. for tranny fluid is reading 300 degrees. what is causing this faulty reading? tranny fluid is full, red, and no bubbles or anything. gentleman at shop said there is a module that reads input/output sensors that is located in tranny. by taking off tranny pan you can get to this module. He said problem may be there? does this sound correct? Please folks anyone with knowledge in this area help me out. This is a great site that works if we help each other. Thank you all

I would guess that their is either a problem in that module or the transmission computer. There is no real way to test it yourself, I would leave it up to a transmission shop.
