High beams and Texas inspection

I didn't really think about this before I added HID's to my truck but now I'm wondering, do I have to have high beams to pass Texas state inspection?

No. Texas no longer checks the aiming of the lights just that they are all working. The inspector will fail you if the head lights are colored. The dealership service writer told the owner of a Dodge Neon if the lights are blue, it would fail.

If you start a thread, be responsible and post the final outcome.
