Hello All, I need some help! We own a 96 Grand Caravan 3.3. My wife has been complaining about the vehicle clicking when she tries to start. Come to find out that the positive battery was just hanging off of the terminal. I cut off the terminal and noticed that the cable is just corrioded very bad. I want to replace the positive battery cable but the dealer says that it is part of the main wiring harness and that it cannot be bought serperatly. Help. Is there an economical solution to this problem? Can I just put a universal on it, how hard is it? Please help!!

Thank you very much,
Fonetek

Probably not an easy solution unless you can cut it back enough to get good copper and still have enough length to reach the battery terminal . Maybe someone else has a good idea .

I had one rot off at the battery post.
But I was able to reconnect it to a cheap replacement terminal.
If yours is too short you can try to get a new long wire and run it to the starter. Ive seen 3 and 4ft + lengths. There is also a short line to the fusebox.

Good Luck
