01 B2500 Ram Van Oxygen Sensors

Time to change my oxygen sensors (both of them) but I am finding it very difficult to locate sensors with the correct electrical connector (square shaped, not the round ones that almost every web site I search seems to think fits). Any suggestions on where I can get ones with square ends, and finally, anyone have any idea about relative quality between say, Bosch, Denso, etc?
Thanks Brad |

Brad,
Hey, we got the same year B2500 vans. I was just looking at a website for both of these items too. I didn't pay close attention to the connectors. Thanks for the heads up. Anyways, the prices are running about $70-85 for each of them. Can we say O-U-C-H. I'll need to crawl under the van to see the connector type. If you find any first, please post here. I usually search known and established companies on the web for parts. I hate getting burned by a fly by night firm. As for manufacture, I would personally go with the Bosch. Nippon-Denso parts are almost a one size fits all solution. I would go for a Delphi part, but, they don't make many Dodge parts. Stev

70-85 bucks is pretty cheap actually. A guy I work with has an '02 VW Cabrio. His O2 sensors cost almost $200 each. Dealer only item too. Now that's a big OUCH! LOL!

Hi Stev,
Looking on http://www.automedicsupply.com/ and selecting oxygen sensors for my vehicle I get two or three different sensors for each the front (pre catalyst) and rear (post catalyst) sensor. Top price for either the front or rear is about $119 made by Walker. Denso looks about $65. These appear to have the square electrical connection that I need. A 'universal' sensor with no connection pre-attached is something like $50-60, hence my inquiry as to quality of product and, really, if the universal sensors perform just as well, then I would not mind figuring how to electrically hook them up. Some other sites have this square sensor connector, including Dodge, but the prices are more around the $150 pricerange for the square sensor. That is all I know so far, Brad |

I don't know if they are the same or not, but the last one I got at a dealer was around $75. That was for my '95 Concorde.
Checker wanted $90 for a friggen POS universal O2 sensor. (sorry not a fan of them) The punk behind the desk had the balls to argue with me over it because I said I was going to the dealer so I could get the right part. He said they were all that way.....wrong! Napa had as of a year or so ago, Bosch sensors for my Concorde for around $50. Just make sure they don't try to peddle thier Echlin crap on you.

Here's a good link showing the square connector type for $70.
http://www.prostreetonline.com/oem/w...=Oxygen+Sensor Just click on the blue word of "Oxygen Sensor" for either front or rear for prices. Not bad, but I would call first too to verify the square connector end to be safe. They have Bosch, Denso and OEM
