Does anyone know how to disable the panic alarm function. I've accidentally hit the button when it's in my pocket too many times.

The owners manual tells how to switch the lock and unlock functions but I can't find anything on disabling the panic function.

I would like to know also. I get tired of accidentally hitting the panic button and setting off my horns.

I did an online search and found this method. Pry open the remote and carefully expose the circuit board. Place a small piece of scotch tape over the point where the panic button hits the circuit board.

Tried it and it worked!

Good luck.

Great info.

Just this morning I'm in parked in front of my bud's house getting ready to go fishin at 545am. I accidently hit the panic button. That's a problem. But in my case, its a real problem when you have air horns.

Planetdell is right, the tape over the contact point works great.
